What We Do
Love the city.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

We love 75104! This motto became a banner for us in the summer of 2021 as we sought to show Cedar Hill God’s love. We want to be devoted to praying for our city, saturating her with the good news of Jesus Christ, and do our part to make this a peaceful and prosperous place. God is bring people to 75104 and we want to meet them with his love.
Make Disciples.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20
We want to help you grow as a disciple and mobilize you as a disciple-maker. A disciple is a person that is following Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and advancing his kingdom. A disciple-maker is someone actively seeking to help people trust and follow Jesus.
Advance God’s kingdom.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, ‘Be reconciled to God.’
1 Corinthians 5:20
Our goal is not simply to grow First Baptist Cedar Hill. Our goal is to advance and grow God’s kingdom. We want everyone we encounter to hear the good news of Jesus, witness godly characteristics within us, and find brothers and sisters to walk with both now and in the kingdom to come. We do not simply want to see the church grow, we want to make heaven crowded!
